incorrect info on my web site

    I installed WordPress through Hostgator, and gave it my domain name: creative-accents.com. However, when I go to WordPress to work on my site, I get the name: creativaccentscom.wordpress.com. That is not how I want it, I want it to have my original domain name. How to I fix, or uninstall WordPress and start over?

    Hi there, http://creativeaccentscom.wordpress.com/ is a free site hosted here on WordPress.com. You’re accessing it via your WordPress.com account.

    In order to manage your site with Hostgator, you’ll need to log in on that site itself. From your post, this should be the login page:
    http://creative-accents.com/wp-login.php

    There are two ways to use WordPress, you can either use the WordPress software downloaded from WordPress.org onto a web host like Hostgator (also known as self-hosted), or you may host your site with us here at WordPress.com.
