Incorrect number of posts

My blog is empty. i deleted all posts, and emptied the trash. No posts are shown, but still the count on the admin interface says I have 6 posts total. I am guessing somewhere along the line some inconsistencies crept in.
When I exported my blog earlier and imported it on my self-hosted domain, I could fix that incorrect number of posts with phpMyAdmin, but over here at wordpress.com I obviously don’t have that option.
Does anyone know of a way to get this fixed?
