Incorrect Post Dates
-
I’ve had problems with my last two blog posts showing an incorrect publish date.
When I published my last two posts, they both showed a publish date of a month earlier than the day I actually published them. I went back to check the editing history of my latest post, and I hadn’t even started the draft yet on the date it says it was published. I checked the editing history because I did a little research and found someone who said that their posts were showing a publish date on the day they started drafting them, but that can’t be the problem here because I hadn’t even started the draft yet when it says it was published.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Dashboard > Settings > General. Select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu you see there and then click “save changes”.
Edit the post, change the datestamp in the Publish module, and click Update.
All Posts are found here > Dashboard > Posts > All Posts
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php
*replace “/NAME_OF_BLOG” with the actual name of your blogYou hover over the title of the post and click the Edit link, then edit the datestamp in the Publish module and click update.
Note that you can examine these images so you see how to edit posts and change datestamps and timestamps where required.

Hi there,
The two most recent posts on your site were published 23 and 15 February. Where are you seeing them showing the wrong publication date? Are you speaking of other posts? If so, please provide the links to those posts, as I have no way to investigate this without knowing which posts you’re speaking of.

The two posts you mentioned are the ones that I was talking about, but I went in after they were published and changed the publish dates myself so that they showed the correct dates.

Thanks for explaining. That does make it impossible for me to investigate what’s going on, though. The next time it happens, please don’t fix it yourself and let me know so I can take a look.
