incorrect re-direct
-
i have cancelled the re-direct and all the paid-for plans on kothea.wordpress.com.
it still re-directs to http://blog.kothea.com
I don’t want it to re-direct like that
Q: How can I propely remove re-directs please?
FYI: I did remove them and the re-direct seemed to stop working for a while (as I wanted). But it looks like someone at either the wordpress.com end of things or my ISP end ‘fixed’ it back (ie broke it not fixed it)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello!
kothea.wordpress.com is not redirecting from here. I also checked your site as viewed from Sydney, Hangzhou and San Francisco and none of them are redirecting the site either.
If you made the changes recently, it’s probably cached on your local system. This guide will help you clear your cache: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
I hope that helps, and let me know if you have any other questions!

Just to add, eventually your local computer’s DNS caching will clear itself and point correctly. You can speed up this process by performing what’s known as a “DNS Flush”. No need to go into all the technical details, but if you like to do this, click this link, select your computer’s operating system (ie Windows 10, MacOS Sierra etc) and follow the instructions.

Hi kothea2,
I’ve double checked your account and there are no active redirects. I also visited kothea.wordpress.com and wasn’t redirected to blog.kothea.com — so the connection between the two is likely to be the result of browser cache.
As joerepublic suggested, please try clearing your browser cache using these steps:
