Incorrect Refund Bug?

    Hi all,

    So recently I attempted to refund my Premium plan I purchased today for $79. However, I got a confusing message stating only a portion of the price will be refunded. Here’s the exact message for reference

    As your domain is 30 days old, you will be refunded $53.00, which is $79.00 for the plan minus $26.00 for the domain.

    What? I purchased the domain for $26 about a month ago. Then I upgraded to the Premium plan for $79 today. Since the $79 was the price of only the Premium plan, the full $79 should be refunded (not $53). Can someone please explain why this refund is only partial?

    The full amount was refunded after I emailed WordPress.com’s support team.
