Incorrect Share Links in RSS Feed

  Anybody else occasionally seeing incorrect share this links in their RSS feeds?

  Sometimes a post looks like http://thereisnoeasterbunny.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/correct_rss_feed.png and other times like http://thereisnoeasterbunny.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/messed_up_rss_feed.png

  I’ve only recently switched to Google Reader so I’m unsure if this is on that end or WordPress.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hmm, looking at it further it only appears to happen on posts I’ve edited since posting.

  That’s rather odd. Are you absolutely sure that it doesn’t happen on new posts too?

  Yup. I went back through my feed and I only see the messed up share links on posts I edited after publishing.

  Themes can sometimes (though very rarely) have an affect on feeds. Is there any improvement if you temporarily switch themes?

  I switched over to Kubrick, edited my latest post, and the incorrect share links came up.

  Hm, this is very strange.

  I’m not actually seeing it myself. Have you checked in any reader other than Google Reader?

  Hmm. I installed FeedDemon and all the articles show correctly. I deleted the feed from Google Reader and re-added it and the edited posts still show incorrectly. Perhaps it’s a bug on Google’s end.

  Yeah, it sounds like it’s definitely a Google Reader bug. Perhaps related to how they cache feeds.
