instead of
peaceandstuff.wordpress.com
i own the domain with ventra ip registrar so i wanted to link that domain name to my wordpress site

Please note that in order to connect a domain you’ll need to have a paid plan.

Hello there,
When sites are free, they just have the free domain, for example (peaceandstuffcom.wordpress.com or peaceandstuff.wordpress.com).
Being able to add a custom domain is a feature available of sites on a paid plan.

I said that I was the owner I clicked on this but it won’t let meThe site peaceandstuff.wordpress.com is one that was created several years ago buy someone under a different login. Because the site is already owned by someone else it’s not possible to use that address for a site under your account.
You can definitely change your site address to say something other than peaceandstuffcom.wordpress.com but it has to be an address that is available in our system and not already taken.
