Incorrect Stats?
-
My stats say that my blog has no views, but I’ve had likes on posts so obviously I’ve had views/visitors. Any ideas what the problem is? It’s happened a couple of times now, but it’s not a consistent issue, bizarrely.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Re: stats, likes and shares
Our stats are not real time stats. The data is cached and takes hours to update. See here for more on stats > http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/The WordPress.com like button, like every other in-house use only like button (example: Facebook) can only be used by those who have registered WordPress.com username accounts when they are logged in to WordPress.com. http://en.support.wordpress.com/likes/
Likes are not page views. In fact, likes and shares are misleading when you are talking about page view stats. Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com blog who is logged into WordPress.com can “like” and “share” your posts in several locations such as the Reader without ever clicking into your blog and creating a page view stat. See here for what I do to compel readers to read posts on my site > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/07/09/wordpress-followers-likes-and-stats
