Incorrect thumbnail, now missing thumbnail on post

Someone added photos to my side on the front screen. After this my posts began sharing those photos as the thumbnail. I have since erased those photos and now no thumbnail shows when I share to Facebook. I would like thumbnail to share from the pic in my post as it did before. Not sure what is different and why this is happening..

I don’t see any photos on your sidebar. Buy if you have them before, they shouldn’t mess with the thumbnail image that is displayed when posts are shared. But you might want to take a look into Facebook’s criteria for selecting images to display when posts are shared: https://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-image-thumbnail/
It might be that the images your posts have don’t meet the size and ration restrictions from Facebook.
