Incorrect Twitter handle showing

  Hi there,

  I’ve checked all the settings on Twitter and WordPress, but I’ve realised that when you click on the share button below posts my old Twitter handle shows in tweets (i.e. the ‘via @ after the tweet).

  Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.

  Hi aquietvegan,

  If you go to Settings > Sharing in your Dashboard, you should be able to see an field that states “Twitter username to include in tweets when people share using the Twitter button.” This is the username displayed when people share your posts.

  Please feel free to post back if you still can’t find the setting you’ll need to change!

  Hi valentine,

  Thanks for your reply. I checked the settings and the correct twitter name is saved there. I deleted it, re-set it and even re-linked the widget on twitter but it’s still coming up with my old twitter name when you click on the share button. Is there something else I could do?
