  I have bought the incorrect web domain, how can it be changed?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Which domain are you talking about?

  If it’s http://gladtobeunhappy.wordpress.com/, you can change that by following this support guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  If you have registered a custom domain like example.com and want to change that then you have to cancel that domain in order to register the correct one.

  NOTE:

  You can cancel a domain registered through WordPress.com:

  • within two days of purchase and receive a full refund. To cancel, please log into your account and go to Purchases. Click Cancel next to the domain you wish to cancel.

  • after two days from the purchase date, you can remove the domain from Purchases, but not receive a refund.

  • If your domain is part of a plan, you will have to remove the plan before you can remove the domain. If your intention is to separate the plan and the domain, you’ll want to contact support.

  Hi, the website name was bought through Go Daddy as ultimatenewmaldenguide.com but it should be theultimatenewmaldenguide.com.

  How can I change this or find a refund?

  If the domain was bought through GoDaddy then I would suggest you to contact the GoDaddy support team regarding this topic.

  We cannot help with that even though we want to. Hope you issue gets resolved ASAP.

  PS: However, ltimatenewmaldenguide.com and theultimatenewmaldenguide.com does not seem to be registered at all. They are still available for registration.
