Incorrectly displaying domain expiration

  My organization auto-renews the “radiologyandhealthit.com” domain through Network Solutions. Network Solutions confirmed to our IT staff that the domain has not expired. WordPress is incorrectly showing that it has expired. Any ideas to quickly resolve?

  When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads. I did that for you.

  Hi there @mpetersacr,

  radiologyandhealthit.com is mapped but is not registered with WordPress.com, but with network solutions.

  WhoIs is stating that registration with network solutions doesn’t expire until 3-17-2017, domain mapping with WordPress.com expired on 3-16-2015.

  You will need to renew mapping with WordPress.com in order for the domain to continue working with the WordPress.com blog.

  How do I renew mapping for a blog that was registered for me by someone else who has since moved on? Thanks.

  Is there any way you can get in contact with the person and have them transfer the upgrade to you? Or, they can post in this thread with their consent for me to transfer the domain mapping upgrade. I can also contact the e-mail on file and see if they’d respond.

  I have been told that the individual is unreachable (left 3 years ago). Their workplace email data was terminated accordingly, and per association policy, we are unable to create a new workplace email in the former employee’s name to attempt to reset their WordPress log-in password.

  Since it is only a domain mapping upgrade and it is already expired (I would have to remove it from his account), I will go ahead and transfer it over to you.

  You should now have access to the subscription and be able to renew.
