Increase font size and formating issues

I am not happy with my blogs font size. I want to increase it for a better readability. If I use the H1 H2 tags then the size either increases a lot or decreases a lot. What is the easiest way to keep the font size of your choice (I wonder why doesn’t WP provides this font size option? very strange!)
Another formatting issue that I couldn’t solve is that – If I want to keep space between paragraphs (like of 2 blank lines between paragraphs) I’m not able to do so. In the editor if I press “ENTER” to have a certain space between paragraphs I works, but when I Publish it, it doesn’t works at all. There is no preferable space between those paragraphs.
I think these factors are making my blog visibility a little vague. Can anyone just help me with this.

1. Forget about font-size, because a visitor to your blog won’t necessarily see what you see: it depends on screen resolution (apparently yours is high), plus all browsers have a zoom-in function (command + in Macs, control + in PCs).
2. The web standard for paragraph breaks is one blank line, so pressing enter repeatedly has no effect (as you’ve found out). To adjust space between paragraphs you need html coding – see here:

You’re concern wasn’t silly: it’s a perfectly reasonable concern, but changing the overall font size isn’t a real solution.
