Increase Header image Size
-
When adding my header image, no matter how I crop the image, the top and bottom of it are cut off and quite small. I am hoping to have the image cover the screen size but when using a code previously it altered the header menu and buttons to be huge too which I don’t want.
Anything I can put into CSS to help?Thankyou

Hello there,
Many thanks for reaching out.
Are you able to tell us the page you’re working on please?
On first glance, I’m not sure if CSS would be able to make any changes or fixes, but we can take a look and determine next steps.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi there,
One thing to be aware of is that because your theme is mobile-responsive to fit on tablets/smartphones, so it adapts it’s layout based on the size of the screen you are viewing your site on.
This can mean that at some screen sizes, the theme needs to crop the header image a bit to make everything fit. You can see this in the demo site for example, where the background image shows more or less of the full image based on the size of the browser window. https://d.pr/v/GuKRC9
Due to the way this behavior is “baked in” to the theme, it cannot easily be done via CSS. If you are trying to show your full header image without cropping, I would instead recommend you add more black background to your collage. To explain, the theme will crop around the edges but attempt to preserve the center of the image. If you have more black background you create a “buffer” that will allow for cropping without the dancers themselves becoming cropped.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
