Increase Maximum upload file size from 2 GB.

    Hello,

We are migrating from a self hosted WordPress instance to a “Creator” plan.

I’ve created a backup with the “All-in-One WP migration” plugin.

This file, with it’s 6,03 GB is too big to fit within the 2GB File upload limitation.

I have no possibility to split it in smaller chunks nor remove some of the data from inside.

Although I understand the reasoning behind the limitation, could you please temporary increase the limit, so I can upload the backup?

    Hi there,

Did anyone assist you with this? I am having the same problem.

If you have a website built with WordPress on another hosting provider that you want to move to WordPress.com, you can use our Import Everything option. This will copy your existing self-hosted WordPress.org site to your new WordPress.com site, including your content, media, plugins, and theme. Prerequisites To follow the steps in this guide, you will need: Your source site: a WordPres

It is a more straightforward method that relies on Jetpack, so you’d avoid the 2GB limitation issue from All in One.

Hope this helps. If you need further assistance with this, don’t hesitate to let us know!
