increase size of text

  is there anyway to increase the font size of normal text? i used the heading 1 function but it didn’t work very well.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I have the same issue. I guess I could just copy from word or something but didn’t see any size settings for font and it appears small and difficult to read. http: //kat76.wordpress.com

  Anything copied from MS Word will be stripped out by wordpress because Word does not speak “web” and severely messes things up.

  This FAQ explains the HTML codes required for changing font sizes: http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/06/12/can-i-change-my-font-font-size/ .

  @quirkyhill, Header 1 is reserved for the blog title text and as such does not format normally. Header 2 and 3 are typically reserved for things like post/page titles and for the widget titles. Again, they typically do not format normally for paragraph or heading text in posts or pages.

  Note his advice:

  Changing the font size is best used for individual effects, not for altering the overall appearance of your blog because you think the type is too small; what a visitor sees depends on his/her screen resolution (which may not be the same as yours), and all browsers have a zoom-in function.
