increase website loading speed
-
I wish to reduce the loading time of website, and google pagespeed insights gives following suggestion (for desktop). But I dont want to change the appearance. I am not an expert in these. The help I need is for pangelingua.net
Your page has 2 blocking script resources and 6 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page.
None of the above-the-fold content on your page could be rendered without waiting for the following resources to load. Try to defer or asynchronously load blocking resources, or inline the critical portions of those resources directly in the HTML.Remove render-blocking JavaScript:

Hi there,
Judging by the errors you received, I don’t think you can do anything to improve this on WordPress.com. We don’t provide access to Javascript files at WordPress.com for security reasons. Along the same lines, WordPress.com users are not provided access to HTML files so you could not inline the CSS. However, I ran your site through Pingdom, and the results turned out pretty well:

You should be fine without removing the things mentioned by the Google Page Speed Insight test.
Cheers!

Thank you..
Pingdom tests the website from Dallas, USA. Any other website from outside USA shows a load time of more than 4 seconds, for eg: gtmetrix, webpagetest.orgIs there anyway to reduce the loading time..?

Is that currently where you are located? Is it just with WordPress.com? I believe it may have something to do with you ISP. Try contacting their support team and see if there is something you can do to increase this.

The speed isnt an issue for me in London. I asked my friends to do this test from Brazil, Canada, Aus, India, NZ and Greece. The result is more than 4-8 seconds… So dont think it is ISP issue the test on other websites is reasonable with my ISP.

So the one thing I can seeing slowing this down is that you are using custom Typekit fonts on pangelingua.net, which may add a little bit of extra time, depending on your connection to typekit.com at the time the site is loaded. It’s possible that the connection to typekit.com from your location is slower than usual, but it’s not something we can control from this end.
So things that we can control are your browser settings. Please make sure you are using the most recent version of your browser:
Then, try loading your site on another browser like Firefox.
Then, try disabling all you browser extensions. Sometimes this helps.
If not, try using a different computer.
Lastly, try going to different location like a coffeeshop or library.
Cheers!

Basically i am not cared about the time to load in my computer or in my browser.

Unfortunately there really isn’t anything which we can suggest. Sites need to ensure that images are not overly large and if users are very concerned with load time that they are not using custom fonts, because (as mentioned previously) connections with typekit.com can slightly slow the connection. However other customizations are not available on WordPress.com.
I apologize for any inconvenience.
