Increased junk email with word press sign up

    I had fully intended to go for a paid site. But my initial sign up has started a bunch of spam emails about unpaid invoices. I had not completed the word press sign up. It seems that this is the only reason these emails are happening. Questioning the security of the word press hosting. I will not sign up unless I know it is secure.

    We don’t share your email address. haveibeenpwned.com is a site where you can enter an email address and check for possible breaches — that could explain how spammers have found your details.

    I will not sign up unless I know it is secure.
