I checked out http://miriamtereck.com/ and it looks like you figured it out by adding a background image to “#header h1 a #sitename”. Do you still need any help?

Oh yes l managed to figure it out but now when l was changing the colours of fonts using CSS i changed all my words to the same colour so now my links are black as well. so how do l change the colour of the link and headings on my posts and the “read more” part is not underlined anymore…
Thank you for helping out -
all my links are not working,.even if you go under book reviews,.if you hover over one of the book titles it neither underlines nor changes colour, before l worked on the CSS it did but not anymore.

To change the color of links inside posts:
a, a:visited { color: teal; }To change the color of post headings:
#content .posttitle h3, #content .homepagecontent h4 a { color: tomato; }Change “teal” and “tomato” to colors of your choice. See http://www.w3.org/TR/css3-color/#svg-color for a list of colors.
I see that you already removed underlining from the ‘Read More’ links by removing all link underlining using this CSS:
a, a:visited { text-decoration: none; } -

The CSS you added won’t affect whether a link works or not.
I think perhaps what you did was underline some text and change text color in the editor, but you didn’t make those things into links. To check this, let’s look at a specific example.
Look at this page: http://miriamtereck.com/2012/02/06/10-keys-to-positive-thinking/
At the top of the page, there is some red underlined text that says, “Napoleon Hill’s Keys to Positive thinking, 10 steps to health, wealth and Success – Michael J.Ritt.”
That is not a link, it’s just text you’ve made red and underlined. Instead of doing it that way, try following this guide first: http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/
And then use CSS to format all of the links in one rule.
