  Hi there. This can only be done by editing the theme’s CSS, and you’ll need the custom design upgrade for that.

  However, note that you can also upload a custom header to your site. The header will appear below the title, and will be the full width of your page. That might work for you instead of the logo: http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/custom-header-image/
