Increasing Main Content Column Width
-
Hello there! Alrighty here’s my problem. I use the theme “Titan” by The Theme Foundry, and the main content column is just a bit too thin, it makes reading longer posts a bit of a pain. I’m just wondering what I have to edit in the CSS to increase its width? Thanks in advance guys.

The post content width right now is 497px, which is actually right in the sweet spot for easy reading. The overall width of the main content area (wrapper) is at 960px, and the widest you should actually go is about 990px. That is because there are still a good portion of people using 1024px wide resolution monitors and if you get too wide it requires horizontal scrolling which is one of the top ten things people dislike most on the web.
You can narrow the sidebar a little and recover some space there to be use in the content area.
So, how wide do you want the content area?
