increasing number of posts on page
-
Is there a way to increase the number of posts on a page (so that you can scroll down longer, perhaps infinitely)? I would like visitors to my site to have the option of just scrolling down for previous posts in addition to clicking on the archives page. At the moment, my home page displays 10 posts.
Thanks in advance!

That is a really bad idea as it means it take a long time for your site to load and people are impatient these days and might just click away and leave instead of waiting. Also there are many out there still on slower internet connections (under 1Mbps) and for them they most certainly will not wait around. Your site took one full minute to load on my slower internet connection. I would not wait around to see what was there. I would hit the back button and head somewhere else.
Also search engines take page loading times into account when determining page rank and slow loading sites will not appear high in search results.
You use images in every post, and sometimes more than one, and that is another reason to NOT have a bunch of posts on the front page and my advice would be to limit the number of posts per page to perhaps 5 so that the pages load quickly for your visitors. Virtually everyone is used to clicking on the previous button to see more posts.

Also forcing your loyal visitors to load a bunch of stuff they have already seen is to me a big irritant in addition to the slow load times.
You want to keep your loyal visitors happy when they just drop by for the last few Posts.
Load quick and as @TSP says people are used to clicking on the “see more” –
