Increasing size of content within area
-
Hi everyone, I’m trying to increase the size of the content on my site. The white area area around the content is too vast, any idea what code is needed to reduce this in custom CSS please? If you head to ‘gallery’ this is the best example – lots of wasted white space.
Thanks!

Hi @birkinscroft, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours using Sela, there is a dedicated Sela support forum at WordPress.org.
The differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
I was going to take a quick look at your site and get you started, but I get a Bear with us… so I can’t see exactly what would be required.
One thing I’ll add, just for your consideration when widening things, is that if you have text content, the best width for easy readability is around 500-750px, at least that is the numbers I’ve came up with over the years. It is actually suggested that the character count on a line (including spaces and punctuation) should be around 55-70.
