Increasing the width of images..
-
How can I adjust my photos so that they stretch all the way across the top of my posts when I publish a ‘standard’ post?
I have found the help and advice of the Happiness Engineers 100% helpful – I would like to assure you that I do try to fix my problem before contacting you – I know you are very busy! Sorry, for my third question in a month!
I just can’t seem to stretch my images right across the area that has been designed to take a photo – they are always a cm or so short. This slightly spoils the appearance of the post. I would really appreciate it if you could help me please. Thank you.
Is the problem down to the size of the original image I am buying on the Internet?

Hi there,
Don’t worry about it! We’re happy to help.
In this case, it does indeed appear that the images aren’t quite wide enough. If you go to the theme information page right here:
http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/further/
You’ll see that featured images should be at least 672 pixels wide. The images which you’re uploading are about 640 pixels wide. Just a bit too narrow, but it’s resulting in that bit of whitespace!
If you upload some bigger images it should work fine for you!
