Increasing Width in Hew theme

    I am using the Hew theme for my blog http://www.chaaipani.com. I wish to increase the width of the blog post area, since a lot of space in the side is being wasted and it also increases the scroll. Please help me with it.

    Hi there!

    It’s true. Your blog posts have a thumbnail area that shares max-width with the post wrapper, that is:

    • 984px in wider than 1032px browser windows
    • 840px in wider than 888px windows (to 1032px)
    • 696px in wider than 744px

    The same for your header (title…)

    But your content area is set to 696px width in more than 1032px browser windows, and so on… You can widen this area using the following code. With it it will be as wide as titles and thumbnail pic:

    .entry-content, .page-content, .entry-summary, .entry-summary, .entry-footer {
    max-width: 100%;
}

    Or, with a slight and elegant :) padding:

    .entry-content, .page-content, .entry-summary, .entry-summary, .entry-footer {
    max-width: 100%;
    padding-left: 3%;
    padding-right: 3%;
}

    Thank you for the help. However, mine isn’t a premium plan. Can I still change the width of this theme? If yes, how?

    I’m afraid you can´t use CSS code in this case.
