incredibly slow responses

  Am I the only one still experiencing very, very slow response from wordpress.com?
  I haven’t been able to get pages to load at all.

  It’s been a problem off an on for the last couple of days, and this weekend I got several server errors. :(

  The topic has been removed from the top of the forum, but yes, there was some maintenance going on at WordPress.com this weekend.

  Just to clarify, I am trying to look at other folks’ blogs–not just mine. They load very slowly, if at all.

  I’ve visited other (non-wp) sites, and the traffic speed is fine–it seems to be WP.

  (and I thought I remembered that sticky, but just assumed I was having a brain fart. Thanks for letting me know I didn’t imagine it! :) )

  Yes, it was a WordPress.com-wide problem most of the weekend, affecting all blogs.

  Its on the weekend. That is good. It shouldnt disturb the bloggers then. :) (think about this…….:) )

  yes, but I was reporting it *monday* evening.
  Seems to be back to normal now.

  You talked in the past tense. Quite a LOT of people report problems first in the day, then check the blog to find the problem has vanished.
