Indefinite name reservation?

    Hi! My name is Derek and I have finally figured out the perfect name for my blog, however, WordPress says it is “already reserved.” The issue I have is that I have been visiting the name that I want periodically and it still says the page doesn’t exist. NotASheep.wordpress.com. Is there a time frame on how long someone can reserve this without using it? Thank you!

    No time limit – blog names are now reserved for the matching account name – so that name is saved for that account name if they ever want to set up a blog – you would need to find that account and get them to register the blog then transfer the blog to you – WordPress.COM will not help you find the account for privacy reasons, so you are on your own for the search
