  How do I make indented paragraphs in posts?

  Hi,

  To indent an entire paragraph, see the Outdent/Indent section of the Visual Editor support page for instructions. The “Decrease indent” (Outdent) and “Increase indent” (Indent) icons are found in Row 2 of visual editors.

  Indenting single lines in a paragraph or a poem is more complicated. You would indent the lines manually in HTML or text mode, and preserve them with the

   tag, as demonstrated in the Preformatted text section of the Advanced HTML support page.

  Hey louisebergin!
   
  There are two different ways to indent paragraphs depending on what kind of indention you’re looking for.
   
  If you’re looking to indent the entire paragraph then go to the blog post you want to edit and click the three dots at the end of the toolbar. It should open up a new set of options for you. The third to last option should say “Increase Indent” when you mouse over it. Place your cursor inside the paragraph you want to indent, then click this button. The entire paragraph should indent and you’re good to go.
   
  If you’re only looking to indent the first line of every paragraph, that will take a little bit of custom CSS. In your sites dashboard go down to Themes and you should see a Customize button. Click this, then when your site loads click on the CSS option in the left menu. In the box that pops up add the below code, then Save. You should see the first line of every paragraph indent.

  text-indent: 36px;
  }
