indenting
-
Hi, I have tried everything and cannot get my
to simply indent without turning the whole iindented part of the text into Italics AND ignoring the Italized titles as a result. <p class=’normal’> doesn’t work. And I am no expert in HTML, btw.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have you tried using the indent icon #9 In Row 2 of the Visual editor?
https://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#outdent-indentRow 1 When initially opened, the visual editor will display a single row of icons. To display the second row of icons, select the toolbar toggle icon and click it To display the second row of icons, click the toolbar toggle icon https://i2.wp.com/en.support.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/kitchensink.png at the end of Row 1.

Thank you, timethief!!
I couldn’t get the second row of icons–duh–because the icon to get them wasn’t clear. Got ’em and thanks for your patience.

THIS IS ABOUT EXCERPTS:
When I followed a link, sent by you, I was asked for my password. I duly supplied it and it refused it. I then chnaged my password. That was not accepted either. Yet I could go to the blog site from a bookmark. Instructions include going to the “Gravatar”–enough already, just call it “user”–menu THERE IS NO “PASSWORD” TO CLICK ON. Frankly, WordPress is not that user friendly–too much hip b.s. and not enough genuine information without all the fancy ad-speak. Come on! I’m fairly computer saavy, but this is ridiculous! On the page which I want to run an excerpt, is there a difference between a post and that first entry? The More tag does not work. ANd since I am for some unknown reason unable to enter my password–the original or the new, how am I supposed to explore alternative ways for doing an excerpt. Or anything else for that matter?
