Indenting some Post and not others

  I’m want to be able to have main and subordinate posts in the same blog. A main post will appear normally, while a subordinate post will be indented and maybe have a smaller headline. How do I indicate in the post that I want it to be a main versus a subordinate post and then reference that inside CSS?
