Independent blogs

    I would like to set up a second blog, completely independent from my first, on a very different topic.
    I want to go on using my first blog.
    But when I try to set up a second blog, it comes up with the first blog author (name below) as the author, and all the references for comments to the site of my first blog (blog URL below). Is there any way I can avoid this ?

    Howdy,

    There are a couple of ways of having separate blogs, but to ensure they’re completely independent, it may make the most sense to have two separate user accounts as well.

    With your newest blog, you can invite another e-mail address of your’s at https://acceptingemotion.wordpress.com/wp-admin/users.php?page=wpcom-invite-users to create an account as an Administrator.

    This way, both accounts could be used to access the both blogs, if needed (good in case you forget a password or change e-mail addresses; helps ensure you can still maintain access), but you can set your user profiles up individually as you’d like and post from the one that is best suited for the separate blogs.
