Independent Publisher 2: Blog Posts Block won't show media

  Hi there – I’m trying to use the ‘Blog posts’ block on one of my pages and would like a grid with the images behind. I have chosen the appropriate options but, for some reason, the images aren’t loading no matter what position I go for. They shown in the block designer; but not on the site when I preview or publish. Is this a limitation of the ‘Independent Publisher 2’ theme or am I doing something wrong?

  Hi @nomadicpulse – sorry, yes, you beat me to it! I’m not entirely sure what I did to fix it though….

  The only thing I changed was this: I noticed that I’d not set a ‘Latest Posts’ page when I set my custom Home Page so I created a blank page and assigned it as my ‘Latest Posts’ page. As soon as I did that, the Blog Posts block on my home page started showing the images… It could be coincidence I guess.

  Great job!

  If you set your homepage or any page as the latest post page, only post will be displayed and nothing else. If you set your homepage as static front page, then only the block will be displayed.
