Independent Publisher 2 – Font & Position of Site Title
-
Hello,
I use the Independent Publisher 2 theme and would like to use Sacramento font for the Site Title.
I would also need to reduce the distance netween Site Title/Tagline and the top of the header image.
Could anybody help? Many thanks in advance!

Hi there,
The Sacramento font is not one that is available in our offered fonts for sites on the Premium Plan. You can review the fonts available at Appearance > Customize > Fonts.
As an alternative, you could create a header image with your site title and tagline within the header images and use that and disable the text-based site title/tagline under Appearance > Customize > Site Identity.
With the Business Plan, you can install plugins and also third-party themes, so you could use a plugin such as Easy Google Fonts, or Use Any Font.
You can review what is included with the Business Plan on this support page, and should you decide to upgrade, any unused time on your current plan would be deducted from the cost of the Business Plan.
I would also need to reduce the distance between Site Title/Tagline and the top of the header image.
With my suggestion above on including the font you want for the site title as part of the header image, you would have control of the placement of the text within the image. You may want to explore that. It could be done also with custom CSS, but I would suggest trying the image route first.

Many thanks for this comprehensive answer :)
Creating an image including the Site Title is a great idea; if I do so, will the Header layout be still responsive and adapt to be mobile-friendly? -

Yes. Headers in WordPress themes should automatically resize based on the device viewing the page.
