"Independent Publisher 2" numbers subscripting

Whenever I use a number in this theme it always subscripts.
You can see an example at
in the third paragraph.It does not appear this way when editing.
No other themes I use do this.
I do not find any comments regarding this in the documentation so I think it’s a bug.
Can you tell me please if it will/can be fixed or if I need to workaround?

This is not a bug, but is instead a feature of the Georgia typeface that your theme uses: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgia_(typeface)
You can see here for example, the Georgia font has non-standard baselines for numbers when the entire typeface is shown:
Because the Georgia typeface was designed to be this way, the only way to fix it is to switch to something other than the default font for this theme. If you go here and click on the Fonts tab, you can see that there are several typfaces to choose from and you can pick one that displays numbers in a way that is pleasing to you: https://wordpress.com/customize/acompanionanthology.wordpress.com
