  The TEXT widget in the Independent Publisher theme does not process HTML. Please see my page at Darhlene.com.

  Could you please confirm the domain name for the site you are working on? I was unable to load any of the sites listed above.

  Also, some HTML code is not permitted on WordPress.com.

  You can see some of the code that is not permitted at https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/.

  And/Or if you want to include the code from your text widget in your response, we can tell you if it should work or not.
