index as a widget

I want to index my posts as a widget. All my posts contain wordplays. I want to have an index for them by categories (example, romantic, animals, etc).

If you put your desired index term categories on your post, you can create a category list widget on your page. The widget itself will not list your post title but will list your categories alphabetically. You can also have it show how many posts in each category.Here’s the support document on doing that:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/categories-widget/This looks like it will automatically list all the categories you assign, not just the subject of the wordplay. The document also describes how you can create a custom menu and create a custom menu widget. That might allow you to pick and choose categories.
As a last resort, if you know which categories you want to use, you can just use a text widget and list each category and link it to the category URL for each one.
