Index page brings up wrong page
-
connecting to the “home” page of my blog. The “Index” should control to a proper menu to direct to directories shows all the stories in reverse (esever) order. BUT, I check the links, the index coding aud nauseum and the index shows nothing that I can correct.
What gives? Do I have to:
1. Delete anything that relates to “Index” and start over with that file?
2. Wipe everything and just start over? It is showing a file that has been deleted, so wiping every bit of work may help? Double delete too? (EG, write an Index file filled with a few random characters then delete it)
3. Delete the account, wait a week and rebuilt from less than zero?
4. Live with it?
dashmccallen.wordpress.com
is the culprit.
Sometimes I get
dashmccallen.wordpress.com/index-8/
erm… I may have edited the index 8 times. If that has a bearing.Thank you in advance for some clues.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I’d be happy to help you with this, but I’m not sure I completely understand what you’re trying to achieve. Can you explain one more time what you’d like visitors to see when they visit your front page (at http://dashmccallen.wordpress.com/ ) and other pages on your site?

If you want a listing of Posts (Index) – you have two options
Use the Archives short code to make a page with a listing of all the Posts
Hand list the Posts sorted in what ever way you want
