Indexation bug
-
Hi there,
I put share options below my posts, and my blog has been started for following words: e-mail, Post and so on. I have found that it was caused by “E-mail share” where the google bot click “Send”, and receive answer: “Cancel. Post was not sent – check your email addresses! Email check failed, please try again. Sorry, your blog cannot share posts by email.”
Can you switch it as unfollow or something? Is there some quick way to workaround that? I discoverd that over 1 bilion sites has that problem https://www.google.pl/search?ix=sea&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=Post+was+not+sent+-+check+your+email+addresses!

I’m not sure what you’re referring to. The Email button is designed for users to share your post via email.
Are users seeing this error when they try to use the button?

Hi,
sorry for inconvenience. I thougth that it is only Jetpack forum. So long story short:
When google but was indexing my page it harvest a lot of following phrases “Post was not sent – check your email addresses”.
I noticed that this text appear, when e-mail button is pressed, and incorect e-mail address was used.
Yes, me as user, when I put incorect e-mail address I have seen that message.
So, I assume, that google bot “click” (make some GET or submit or smth else) on this button (share post via e-mail in Jet-pack) and receive quoted above message which index – you can find a lot of this phrases indexed on WordPress based blogs.
I found this by Webmasters tools – some strange words, which I don’t use apears as keywords “email”, “your” – I have polish language blog. So:
– google crawler “click” share via e-mail from Jetpack Add-one
– google index received result (Post was not sent – check your email addresses)
– a lot of pages are indexed on this phrase, and this phrase introduce incorect determine of keywords by google. -
