  Is there any way to completely get rid of indexing? We are part of a academic organization and cannot have indexing on our site.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Howdy,

  I see you’ve found the setting on https://ihmandrews.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php to discourage search engines.

  That’s the best that can be done, short of making your site private and only for allowed users. With the setting as it is now search engines are told to ignore your site and, if already indexed, to remove the pages the next time the site is visited by them, though the general public can still view the site.
