Indexing 2 home pages – main one 'not found'

  Hi,

  I have noticed that when viewing my wordpress sites on the iphone. There are two homepages. One is a ‘Nothing found’ (www.peacheswaxbar.com) the other when you click on it (www.peacheswaxbar.com/home/) shows the homepage information. This has happened to a few of the sites I manage and I am very concerned as people are arriving on these sites from external search engines only to be given a not found message. We use WordPress for its reliability but in this case it is found wanting. Very worried.

  I should add it works fine on a desktop/laptop.

  I do see the problem and we’ll look into it.

  However, your theme is fully responsive, meaning that it adjusts and adapts to mobile screens, so you can safely disable the mobile theme via Appearance -> Mobile in your blog’s Dashboard.

  Sorry last detail… This issue is only a recent one. It worked fine in the past. I checked my webmaster tools and there are no reported issues or crawl errors.

  I have removed the mobile theme and that has solved the problem.
