individual blog entries in google search

  Hello there, my blog shows in google if you search for the overall blog name but I would like to know if there is a way for my actual individual posts to show if people search for one or more of the main words in the title for each entry? Does anyone know if you can/how to do this? Would like to get more exposure..
  I’m on the free site for both wordpress and google mail..

  Since everything is password protected there is not much reason for search engines to index your content – nor can search engines see more than just the main page – just a head line will not be indexed very well – search engines look at all the info on a web site – nothing much to look at on your site

  Hey there, thx so much for getting back to me. The websites you have provided are very useful.
  My blog is p/w protected atm but will be going live in Oct. I’m just trying to get everything prepared before I go live..
  So i have added a few tags by going into side menu, posts, add tags but I can’t work out how to link that tag to a specific post. ATM, they are just unlinked tags.
  Are you able to talk me through how to do that pls?

  Edit a Post if you want add tags to a Post – the add tags section you are looking at is if you are adding tags to your whole blog – but the tags don’t do anything until they are added to a Post – and you need to edit a post to add a tag

  Thank you so much – that was very helpful. I have now tagged, and published the majority of my blog.

  I have one more question, I had wanted to link my blog with my instagram but the only option I can find is to have my instagram photos published on my blog which I don’t want. I really just want a link between the two so that people who visit my instagram page can see that I have a blog and therefore visit it or for people on my blog to be able to click on a link that takes them to my instagram page. Is this poss?

  Put a link in a text widget in the sidebar to your Instagram site

  There is also a links widget that can be used
