Individual Blog Posts Not Showing Up in Google Search

    Hello, I am relatively new to blogging and am having some trouble with having my posts show up in an online search. I was wondering what could possibly wrong because I have searched for my own blog posts, but the only URL that will show up is my actual site’s homepage. Thanks in advance!

    Correct account: Yes

    Hi! It takes a couple of weeks before search engines display new content. To explain how this works: Google’s robots (and other search engines) “crawl” the web daily looking for new content. When they do, it takes a little while for it to be displayed properly when searched for by people.

    Note that you can help search engines find you by submitting your new site to their indexation services. Google, for example, has a tool called “Search Console” which allows you to submit your site: https://search.google.com/search-console/welcome
