Individual comment blacklists

  Hi,

  Is there a plugin or other mechanism to enable commenters to set up their own blacklists? I’m on a fairly active WordPress blog that has a couple of very prolific commenters who add little value. In the interest of free speech, they are allowed to comment, but if others don’t wish to see those comments, it would be nice to support that choice.

  If you’re blogging on WordPress.com you can’t have plugins. If you’re self-hosted and are using WordPress.org software, you can, but then you’re posting to the wrong forum. See this:

  Unfortunately, we can’t help you here if you’re self-hosted (and most of us are volunteers).
