individual content for individual users

    Hi, I’m looking for advice on whether I can operate a content management system that will allow me to upload specific individual content to specific individual users? Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.

    That does not sound like functionality we offer, but it may help if I understand your question a bit better to see if indeed it is possible.

    Can you give me a bit more info about what you are trying to set up? Possibly an example of how it’d work (if it were set up correctly) will help as well.

    Thanks so much for getting back to me.

    Sorry, I’ll try and explain clearer what I’m looking for….

    I would like to offer multiple users a platform that they sign into with their own unique username and password that will allow them to carry out various tasks, for example…..download marketing images, view their invoices from me (which I’ll upload to their specific platform), ask me questions, fill in an excel spreadsheet to place an order for goods. If you can advise on anything WordPress can offer I’d appreciate your feedback.

    We do not have that specific functionality built in on WordPress.com, so as a first step you would likely need to upgrade to our WordPress.com Business Plan, which will allow you to upload “plugins” designed by outside companies. This wil add functionality to your site that we do not provide on our end.

    I know there are plugins that allow you to create a “client area” that users can log into, and that sounds like the best fit for your needs:

    However we do not have direct experience in creating such a site, so what you describe sounds a lot like something you might need to hire a web designer for. If you have not created a website of this nature in the past we would not be able to guide you. You may also find guides for setting up this kind of site on Google as well.
