Inexplicable shortening of previous posts

    Hi folks.

    I’ve the following problem:

I have defined until now all my posts in Arial11 and realized with horror that quite a few have then be shortened to Arial8 or even smaller, even tough I didn’t do anything at all.

A perfect example is this post:
    http://lotharlorraine.wordpress.com/2013/08/25/271/
(please don’t get carried away by the content :=) )

Why the hell did this change happen and what can I do in order that it won’t occur in the future again?

Is there a way to directly change the police “Arial” and choose the size in the Visual mode?
Or is it only possible to change the size in the Text mode?

Otherwise, is there an easy way to move all my posts from WordPress to a more user-friendly blog provider?

    Many thanks for your answer!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It doesn’t matter what blog software you use, this error will follow you everywhere as long as you are copy/pasting content from programs which are not web-compatible.

This is happening because there are invisible code tags that are affecting your posts. The Paste From Word button only helps somewhat; the solution is to use Windows Live Writer or similar web-compliant program instead of one that is not web compatible.

In order to fix this, go to Settings->Writing and select “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML” and save. Then go to the Bulk Editor on your Dashboard Posts page, select all the posts, set them to private, then set them back to public. That forces the change to take effect on those posts. If there are errors farther back, you’ll have to do the next twenty posts, and so on until all the errors are gone.
