Infinite scroll doesn't work
-
Though I have enables infinite scroll AND number of posts displayd is set to 50, only 14 posts appear on my blog no matter on which PC I try it. Theme is Isola.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. They made some changes to infinite scroll yesterday and it is causing bugs in some themes. I’ll tag this for staff to follow up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and be patient while waiting.

@ungemaeuer-
Hi there,
I viewed your site and found that the infinite scroll was working. Can you please try again and see if the posts don’t automatically load.
Let me know if you have any questions with this!

They don’t load for me… :/ I tried it on my home computer on my phone and at work. They only go as far as the Video of an interview with Samu Haber from Sunrise Avenue. There are more posts to be displayed, though.

Oh, another thing: When I got into the options mode for the theme (where you can change colours etc) it shows me a preview of the blog that does, in fact, have a working infinite scroll. It’s totally crazy. I need to be sure this is working before I make my blog public, though…

Please work through what follows and report back.1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

In the meantime, I unchecked infinite scroll and NOW I can scroll down all the way… maybe this has got something to do with the German settings menu??? It’s possible that there is a misunderstanding. When I had the infinite scroll option checked, it said in parenthesis (loads 7 posts with every scroll) or something like this. Now that I’ve unchecked it says (loads 50 posts). I may go into the other options you named out if curiosity though. Thanks a lot for your help. I did install the latest version of Flash player as well, btw.

Will you please tell us:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/ -
Firefox mobile 31 on Sony Xperia z1 compact, Firefox for win 7 on two different computers. It was all the same. I cannot tell you the computer version until I’m on the computer again….

> Now that I’ve unchecked it says (loads 50 posts)
I see that you set it to show 50 posts. So, if you uncheck Infinite Scroll then it will show 50 posts, and after 50 posts there will be a link to view your other posts.
I’m glad Infinite Scroll is now working for you!
