  Hi there

  I used to be able to have footer widgets and infinite scroll, but now it says: “We’ve changed this option to a click-to-scroll version for you since you have footer widgets in Appearance → Widgets, or your theme uses click-to-scroll as the default behavior.”

  I’d love to have infinite scroll and widgets again; can I change it back?

  On WordPress.com, you can’t have both Infinite Scroll and footer widgets at the same time, it’s one or the other. The reason is that you would never be able to reach your footer widgets if you just kept scrolling!

  rmhpapst – Jetpack is only for self-hosted sites, where you run the WordPress software on your own server and can install plugins. Here on WordPress.com, all the Jetpack features are already built right in!
