Infinite Scroll Not Working on Editor Theme

  This theme allows infinite scroll. It still doesn’t work. When I’m logged in I have two scroll bars when viewing the home page and I can scroll to my first post by using both scrollbars. When I’m not logged in there is one scrollbar and it stops short of my whole range of posts.

  Hi there. Infinite scroll has to do with whether new posts load automatically on your home page when a reader reaches the bottom. It looks like it’s deactivated on your site, as I see an Older Posts button when I reach the bottom of the home page. With Infinite Scroll on that won’t be there. You can activate Infinite Scroll from Settings ->Reading in the dashboard. https://en.support.wordpress.com/infinite-scroll/

  I don’t know what’s the point of the two scroll bars on that theme, but logged in or logged out I can see all the posts on your site. Try clearing your browser cache and cookies and also check if the same thing happens if you use a different browser. http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

  You saw the “Older Posts” because I turned infinite scroll off in the Reading Settings. I’ll turn it back on for today so it can be seen by support people.

  I would try to clear the cache but I know that the blog’s infinite scroll, when it was on, didn’t work for my friend on her tablet, unless she zoomed in on the smiley face at the bottom of the page.

  When your friend viewed it on a tablet, do you know which type of tablet (specifically the operating system) and browser she used?

  I tested this on my Android phone with the Android browser, and I am able to replicate this behaviour. One time the infinite scroll will load automatically, the next time I must zoom in on the bottom of the screen to trigger the infinite scroll. I’ll tag this for staff to look into that inconsistency. Please be patient while waiting for their response.

  She used Google Chrome on Windows with a Sony Vaio tablet. I’m encountering the problem with Google Chrome on a Mac.

  Thanks for letting us know about this. The scroll problem is unique to your theme. I was
  able to replicate it in Chrome and FireFox. The scroll works fine in Safari.

  I’ll submit a bug report and let you know when I have follow up info.
