info page in kiore moana

  I have the Kiore Moana theme and am trying to create an info page with the info tab in the upper right corner. I followed the instructions provided on the link that teaches you more about the theme and created a new page, set the template to info and then added the url in theme options–it added the info button in the upper right corner but when you go to the info page it doesn’t display any content. I can get it to display the content by changing the page to default template but then the info button is always an info button it doesnt switch to a home button when you access the info page because it doesnt recognize it as an info page..

  how can i fix this?! what am i doing wrong?

  nevermind. figured out it all has to be through the widgets. the text that you enter on the page tab is not actually visible on the site…
