Inform followers of "comics" not "posts" ? Panel theme

  Bit of an odd one.
  I have a site for a webcomic that is using the Panel theme
  https://wordpress.org/themes/panel/

  This as well as allowing you to post up normal “posts” it adds the option to post “comics”. As a result 99% of my posts are actually comics
  I said it was an odd one

  Problem is if people follow the blog they are only emailed when I post up a “post” which I never do. Have 50+ followers who havent been informed of any of the 94 comics I’ve posted up

  Anyone know if this can be changed?

  Hi @bluemeanie, I was able to confirm email notification was sent for this latest comic.
